Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

forged checks

My son 22yrs is charged with cashing two forged checks 250.00 and 850.00 approx. 10 days apart and was arrested while passing the second one. He has no prior felonies but was also extridited to another state and convicted for criminal tresspass x2, criminal property damage x2,larcany, and simple first dui. He was sentanced to 30 days time served, and 364 days suspended, with probation to be served concurrent to any possible future sentance in arizona. he was also given 30 days in house dui school and fines. he has been in jail 29 days now. what type of plea will he be facing for these two class 4 felonies (forgery) in arizona. He has a bad alcohol problem, should this be brought up to the judge or not mentioned. We were planning on writing letters to the judge. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: forged checks

If prior convictions not alleged probably probation. If alleged probably no agreements or prison. Alcohol problem is mitigation and should be mentioned to the judge if there is a plan for treatment.
