Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

When does it become to late or useless

In regards to the crime of armed robbery and or attempted murder. When does it become to late or in all reality useless for the victum to report these crimes committed on him. I know who committed these crimes agaisnst me. They obviously weren't worried that I would ever say anything. That fear would keep my lips sealed. fear of life and limb. for myself as well as my my elderly mom who was also made a victum of these crimes and feared the same late on a summer night of August 30th 2000. Have they beaten that risk.

It depends upon whether or not there is still the required evidence to convict. Why not contact the District Attorney's office where the crimes were committed and see what they say?

You should contact your local law enforcement agency and file a report. The law enforcement agency will generally initially investigate, then decide whether there is sufficient information/evidence to submit the matter to the appropriate charging/prosecuting agency for prosecution. The charging/prosecuting agency will then review the law enforcement report and can either initiate prosecution, decline prosecution, or advise the law enforcement of additional information needed to proceed with the case.

Be aware of "statute of limitations" requirements which basically put a deadline on the time within which the offense/crime can be prosecuted.

I would be happy to discuss the issues more in-depth with you by phone or in-person. There is too much to cover via e-mail though I have provided you with the major points. Call me for a free hour consultation if you would like to discuss the matter in more detail.
