Minor consumption & drug paraphernalia

The police were called to a party which was held at my son's apartment. They sited everyone under the age 21 with MC. There was a bong in site & were all threatened to go to jail if no one fessed up to who's it was. My son said it was his. Should he get attorney? How can we file motion for delay & investigate our options.

It is always advisable to obtain counsel if you or your loved one have been charged with a crime. Depending on the particular facts of your son�s case, his �confession� may by inadmissible in court if it can be demonstrated to the judge that it was the product of threats or coercion by the cops.
