Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

Concerning sex offender registration and adjudicaton issues

We currently live in Florida, but will be retiring to AZ next year. My husband is soon to be off probation early on recommendation of PO. His record reads that he was non-adjudicated, as part of the plea. Does he still have to register in AZ as a sex offender at the level 1, or does he not have to register at all? It is the ''non adjudification'' part that I do not understand. At the time, it was said that once off probation, he would not have to register.

Thanks, C.G.

Re: Concerning sex offender registration and adjudicaton issues

I am very experienced in this area of practice and realize how important it is to avoid the stigma of registration. There is more information that I would like to evaluate in order to give a thorough opinion. If need be, this matter can be litigated to avoid registration. If you are looking to hire counsel for this endeavor, please call me. (six-zero-two) two-two-two--nine-two-three-seven).

It depends on what he pled to or was found guilty of. If the conduct in Florida constitutes a sex offense in Arizona. My opinion is that he would have to register. A transcript and a copy of his sentencing would be needed to render an accurate opinion.
