Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Arizona

Products sold in grocery store

I am an avid shopper at a local grocery store. I recently noticed that they do not sell one ounce of ethnic products in this particular store. When I inquired about this, I was told that there is not a big demand for these products and that is the reason for it not being on the shelf. As a consumer I was curious as to how they determine the demand for a product and I was then told that they have the product on the shelf for a certain amount of time and if sales are not maintaining a certain level, then the product is pulled. I then wanted to clarify that the products have been on the shelf and pulled and he then told me that the products never made it on the shelf because they were never picked by the buyer of the store. So I would like to know what is the liability of the store to just decided not to carry a product based on a guess or an assumption on maybe that there are not that many ethnic consumers living in this area. I also pointed out that the Albertsons, which is less than 2 miles from this store must use a different method, because they seem to not have a problem carrying these products. I was told to fill out a customer comment card and it might make a differnce.
