Legal Question in DUI Law in Arizona

Dui arrest for marijuana Mesa Arizona

Ok well this friday evening I was pulled over for my tires squeeling, when I was pulling out of a gas station.I had pulled over and the officer asked me to do a field test so I had said no problem,he had thenasked me why I was so nervouse and shakey, and i had said because I was just coming home from a fifteen hour day and havent eaten anything yet, then he asked me if I was on any hard drugs like meth or cocaine. I had replied hell no, he then asked if I had ever smoked marijuana before, and I had said yes, about two days ago. He had then arrested me and took me in for a blood test and urine test.I must admit I do smoke marijuana but not every day, and only when i get home and only a few puffs just to chill out. My question is if I hadnt smoked at all that day or that evening how would it be that I can get charged for driving impaired, do they test for amounts of THC or does it matter how much you have in your system will they still prosocute you? please reply I really am stressed about this situation.

THC remains in the system for about 90 days under ordinary circumstances. It is fat-soluble, so it accumulates over time. Yes, it will be traceable 2 days following your last consumption. AZ is a zero-tolerance state. Since the charge will affect your driving privileges, you should consult a lawyer before doing anything in court other than pleading not guilty.
