Emergency money for a homemaker

I am a homemaker and mother of one. I have been married for 6 years and want a divorce but am not sure how I could provide for my daughter and I without part of my truck driver husbands' money. Is there anything I could file to get money from him to help pay everyday expenses (rent/car payment) without waiting for the divorce to be finalized?

You would have to file a motion for temporary orders with the court. That is the only way to get the issue in front of the judge on a faster basis.
