Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Lawyer withdrew just six weeks before trial

After temporary orders were set, my wages were garnished and I could no longer pay my lawyer's fees. He withdrew last week. I am scheduled to go to trial with several things still left undone on May 5th. What can and should I do? I live in Virginia and my wife/kids live in Arizona (trial state). Should I request for another trial date? I am lost, and any help is appreciated.

Re: Lawyer withdrew just six weeks before trial

It depends om what you intend to accomplish by having a continuance such as additional time to hire a new lawyer and/or to prepare your defense,

either of which could be a valid reason for making the request.(This, of course, assumes that you have not already been granted one for these reasons.)
