Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

I signed papers to have my daughter legally adopted by her stepfather in Pinal County, AZ in March 2009. He and my ex-wife missed their appointment with the Pinal County Atty. to submit papers. Their current lawyer will not give me any information.

How can I find out from Pinal County if the papers have been submitted to the court?

Have you talked with the people at the Pinal County Attorney's Office? It's not clear from your question, but are you seeking to revoke your consent to adoption? If so, you should put your revocation in writing signed before a Notary Public and submit the writing to all the parties asap.

I work in Cochise County, so I would not be able to represent you. You can take action on your own. You might want to consult with a Pinal County lawyer; they might even be able to informally call their fellow lawyer or the County Attorney's Office for you.

Good Luck,
