Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

So I have a son whose father went MIA when I was pregnant. He has emailed since still claiming that he is probably not the father, but that was also after my son was almost a year old. He had the ways to contact me and could have gone to court to prove paternity if he really wanted to. I am unsure as to where he is living now, but I just want him not to be able to come into my child's life and run off like he did this past time (I have info of how he has run away a lot in the past so it is a pattern). Anyhow, the baby was born in SC with no father on his BC, but we now live in Arizona. I have no clue where to start or whatever. Help!

Are you convinced that he is the father? Or are you not sure? Regardless, unless he can be located it will be difficult to get him to agree or be court-ordered to undergo a paternity test to establish paternity by law. You could do an Internet people search (free or paid) to try to locate him or hire a private eye. For now, just be thankful that he is not around to bother you, I guess.
