Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Arizona

Whistleblower

I am a Nuclear Security Officer at the Palo Verde Generating Station in AZ. Through the course of my duties I discovered a number of items that constitute a high security risk. I have in the past attempted to convey my interest and concern regarding, what I considered some serious shortcomings in the daily operation of the facility (from a security standpoint)...to make a long story short, I am being investigated by the FBI...I feel as though I have been ''hung out to dry'' by my employer and painted as a ''disgruntled employee''...in fact I may have been nothing more than a ''whistleblower'' of sorts. I have been humiliated and professionally damaged by these actions. There are and will not be any findings that could possibly incriminate me, as I have done nothing but conduct myself professionally and fulfill my responsibilities by keeping the safety and security of this facility first and foremost on my personal and professional agenda. I feel as though my employers have some serious and important questions to answer themselves and, more importantly have some very real concerns regarding the safety of this facility. I need some help and/or advice regarding this situation. Wondering if, I may have some civil avenue to pursue ?

Re: Whistleblower

Yes, you have statutory remedies civilly but you need criminal defense. Expensive process to pursue whistleblower claims but can use as defense against prosecution. Looks like you are being made a scapegoat - not good. You may neeed to spend $10,000 plus to save your reputation and to avoid prosectuion. You may be innocent as a lamb but that is a conclusion that ignores the hard process. We would need an advance fee of about $10,000 because if the gov't is investigating you, you will need it. Actually if you are charged, you will need to have more like $30,000 on tap to even start to defend yourself. Our trust account would be a good place for this money so it won't be seized.
