Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arizona

Whats the fastest way to become legal in the u.s? im in az. my boyfriend came here illegally has been here for over 15 years.and has good a good record.has a 3year old son born in the u.s.. now me and my boyfriend want to get married but not sure if it will be better to get married here in the u.s or in mexico? has never been deported.

Unfortunately, in this situation there is no fast way to become a permanent resident.

If you marry in USA and petition for your husband, he will have to go to Mexico and apply for a visa and a waiver (if no one ever petitioned for him before).

If he is apprehended by ICE (immigration) and taken into Immigration Removal Proceedings, then he might be able to apply for Cancellation of Removal.

In both cases, you definitely need help of a good lawyer.

If he entered illegally into the US, he may have to return to his home country to finalize his petition for lawful permanent residence through marriage to you, a US citizen.
