Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Arizona

lawsuit filied in civil procdure attorneys want to withdraw

we are in a law suit with another corporation, they are suing our company, and other people. the attorneys we have now want to withdraw from the case because they said we couldn't afford them. we have already paid them 150,000 dollars and depostions are suppose to start in a month. no other attorney will take our case because of the short notice. the attorneys we have now what us to sign a withdrawl form to let them off the case, and they wrote a letter to the judge which wasn't very nice. should we sign the form or will we be without leagal council when it goes into court.

In New York, a corporation cannot appear in court pro se. In other words, you would have to have a lawyer.

Your attorney may have acted unethically and may have prejudiced your interests with the court. There is no way we can tell that from here.

You should consult with other local counsel, who would be able to study the letter that was sent to the judge, review the retainer agreement and the totality of the circumstances.
