Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona

Auto Accident involving pregnacey

I was a passanger in a vehechil that was involved in a accident when I was 6 months pregnant. Neither of the insurance companies have called to find out my side of the story or to compansate me for the time out of work due to the fact that the accident put me in the hospital for a night because of pre term labor. Then out of work for a week. This happened 8 months ago and i now have a beautiful 2 month old baby boy, but i have heard that things could show up later on in my baby due to the accident. I feel that No one even cared that I was in the car and had to go thru all of this. Should I seek legal action on both insurance companies?

Re: Auto Accident involving pregnacey

Congratulations on the birth of your son. The answer to your question is yes, you should make a demand on both insurance companies if fault has not been determined. If liability has been accepted by one company as the result of their insured's negligence, then submit your medical records, lost income, and pain and suffering claim to that insurance company. Please be advised that a two (2) year statute of limitation applies to your claims, i.e. if you are unable to settle this matter without litigation, you must file a lawsuit within two (2) years after the date of the accident. Good luck.
