Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona

Broken Tooth

Thanks in advance for your time. I recently ate a hamburger from a Jack in the Box fast food restaurant and bit down on something... a piece of bone or a pebble. I had immediate pain and a strange feeling in my tooth and thought it got wedged in my molar. However, I later tried to get it out with a plastic toothpick and my molar broke apart on one side. I do not have the pebble/bone unless is in the tooth, but I doubt it is. I can't afford to get this tooth fixed, and all I'd like is have the repair paid for. Do I have any leverage here, or is it simply impossible to prove the food was at fault?

In response to your inquiry, have you had any dental work done at this point for this incident? When you were at Jack-in-the-Box, did you report this incident to anyone that either works for Jack-in-the-Box or is of a management capacity? One who immediately reports such an event to management can often get medical care paid for. If one leaves the establishment or doesn't report the event until some time has passed, then proof problems will often prevent a recovery.
