Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona
Daughter injured as passenger out of state
My teen aged daughter was injured driving back to Arizona from California due to the driver falling asleep at the wheel. The accident happened in CA but the driver and his insurance is from Arizona. Do i need to consult a CA laywer or AZ? She has a broken femur and ruptured spleen and spent 6 days the hospital and will require follow up medical care. I am not looking to get rich from the insurance company but i do want to have her medical bills covered and problems she may have in the future as she is an athlete and this is a major blow to her.

The case can be handled by an Arizona attorney, but there may be a shorter statute of limitations for accidents that occur in California. Contact us immediately for a free telephone consultation at 480.835.1500, or weekends at 480.529.0557 (cell).
I have handled many cases like this one since 1979, including serious cases where young accident victims have permanent disability, disfigurement, or extended long term care is needed. I also can arrange and prepare trusts for the management of minors' settlement funds for asset protection.
Since the driver and his insurance is in Arizona it is likely that the insurance adjuster will be in Arizona. We also handle accident cases in other states, including California.
It will be important to immediately instigate investigation, and that your daughter not speak with any insurance adjusters or give any statements. If she has already, we will obtain transcrits of those interviews. Our fees are on a contingency basis, no fee until we win the case and collect.
Another issue we need to be sensitive to is whether your daughter sustained any concussion or has any post-concussion symptoms. I have personally handled many cases dealing with this issue and no stone should remain unturned in evaluating her damages.
We make housecalls or visits in hospitals for the injured who have restricted mobility or have a hard time coming to the office. Weekend and evening appointments are available as well.
I would be happy to personally meet with you or speak on the telephone about this case to answer all your questions and get more information, and if acceptable I would personally handle all phases of the case and would not turn the case over to a junior attorney, including all phases of any litigation needed. I am also available to start immediately any needed investigation, photography of vehicles, get police reports, speak with insurance adjusters, and safeguard evidence as needed.
I am available Friday evening and Saturday on the 480.529.0557 number. There is no obligation on your part for speaking with me, and the consultations are free of charge.
If the weekend is not convenient, you may call the office at 480.835.1500 on Monday. Please understand that your message is anonymous, so we do not see your name or telephone number. If you desire to email me, the address is [email protected].
Thanks for your interest on behalf of your daughter.
Best regards,
James D. Jenkins
P.S. Your daughter's state of residency is not pertinent to this case not should be a concern.
