Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

An internet service/phone provider recently routed a wire from the box on my property (above ground) across my front yard & driveway to hook it up at the neighbors house for services. How long can they legally keep this? It is bolted into the ground and I received no notification that they were going to do this.

It most likely depends on the scope and location of the utilities easement, but that set up seems odd. At the very least, the line should be buried. Having a line extend above ground is not only potentially dangerous, it isn't good for the line itself. I would recommend a demand letter. They can always reply and prove how they are entitled to such an arrangement under their easement, but it may just have been the actions of an unknowing technician. If its brought to their attention, they may send someone out to fix it.

Let me know if I can help.
