Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

Well On Property I bought

I bought a property with a well on it, the previous owner had a well agreement drawn up that was not correct. Do I have to abide by this contract? A neighbor, sued me on several other points and one being that I could not turn off his water for Non payment or any other reason! He hasn't paid in 3 yrs now. Temp restraining order states it would be life threatening to shut off water. Do I own well? To do repairs I have to shut off everyone's water

Re: Well On Property I bought

Your question does not have enough detail, and frankly is too complicated to answer in this forum IMHO. You state a suit was filed, but do not state if that is pending or gone to final judgment. You are also asking us to comment on a well agreement, and a lawsuit, which we do not have in front of us.

See an attorney. I suggest Scott Larmore, an experienced attorney who specializes in water law. Good luck.
