Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

QuitClaim Deed

Hello, I had purchased a townhome with my aunt as a co-signer. I then moved out of the country and I had signed a quitclaim deed over to my aunt. The home still shows on my credit report and I was just wondering if it is possible to have it removed. Do I still have rights to the home if it remains on my credit report?

Re: QuitClaim Deed

You can request that your aunt ask the lender to remove your name. I doubt they will but it will not hurt to ask, except that you did a conveyance without their knowledge. Since you deeded all your rights to the house to your aunt, you have no more ownership of the home.
