Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona

we live and travel in an RV. What power of attorney do I need to be valid in every state in case of an emergency, medical or others? Right now we spend our winters in AZ but we are residents of FL.

You are right to be concerned about emergencies, both medical and others. A validly made and executed power of attorney will be recognized and enforceable in all 50 states. A POA is an agency agreement (in legal terms) and to be certain of enforceability, should be witnessed by 2 persons and signed in front of a notary public. You should have 2 POAs, a heathcare POA and a financial POA. This way each of you can have authority to take care of financial responsibilities and make medical decisions for the other, but you must also provide for the situation where both of you are incapacitated and someone else must take care of both of you.
