Living trust, proper procedure

My parents are putting all their assests in a living trust. Does that need to be filed with the court or just signed and notarized?

It does not need to be filed with the court or recorded. In fact, one of the benefits of such a trust is the privacy afforded to the creators of the trust and in fact, they can amend or revoke the trust at any time.
