Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona

Obtain Will on Grandfather

How do i go about obtaining a copy of

my deceased grandfather's will

without going through my mother or

grandmother? I am sure that me

and my sister were in the will and

were cheated out of what we were

trusted. I want to make sure but

dont know where to begin. I was

either 20 or 21 when he died back in

2003 and feel my mother cheated us

out of our inheritance. Do me and

my sister have rights to see the

will??

Re: Obtain Will on Grandfather

Check with the probate court in the county where your grandfather lived. If his will was probated, then you can get a copy of the case file which will have the will.

If that doesn't work, and you can't convince your mother to give you a copy, then your only option is to file a lawsuit to contest the will. For that you should hire an attorney.

Good luck.
