Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona

Will

Does a legal ''Last Wiil and Testament'' cover assets as specified in the Will, when the assets are located in foreign Contries?

Would you have to write a different Will to comply with that Contry's laws?

Re: Will

The Will covers assets wherever the assets are situated. The laws and procedures of the particular country where the property is located will determine if the Will is enforceable in that country or if the law of that country will determine the disposition of the property. If you are making the Will now, and contemplate that there will be property in another country that will be part of the estate, then you should take action to learn the laws of those countries and what is required to pass property on to the heirs in that country, and then prepare documents accordingly.
