Legal Question in Consumer Law in Arkansas

Illegal Use of Mailing Address

My exhusband and wife are using my address (a home neither one ever lived in)online to register for different programs and services. I have asked them to stop. They have not. What can be done?

Re: Illegal Use of Mailing Address

If you have tried talking to them and that hasn't worked, you might try writing them a letter. Even better, you could have a lawyer write them a letter for you. Quite often that is more persuasive. One letter usually doesn't cost very much.

However, if neither of these work, you may have to take legal action. You should contact a lawyer near you to help you file the appropriate documents. If you have any financial losses, then you may try to get them back at this time with the help of a lawyer. But you should act soon before you get on any more unwanted lists.
