Legal Question in Consumer Law in Arkansas

I signed a contract with Royal Prestige stating that I would pay them monthly payments for their cookware. In the contract it says that I paid a down payment of $65.40 when in fact I paid them nothing. Is the contract still good even if it is a lie. I never paid them anything. The person who was selling the product knew I could not pay them then and forged the contract to say that I have paid them when in fact I haven't. They do not have any of my banking or credit information. They do have mine and my fiancee's social security info and my drivers liscense number. Also they never told us about the cancelation period only being three days after our purchase date. I guess my question is....with the information I just told you is the contract we still signed legally binding? Do we still have to pay them eventhough the contract we signed has false allegations? I can't cancel through them I know because the cancelation period is past due. Please help.....

My fiancee went into this deal blind. We are young and didn't really realize what we were getting into. I started looking up info on the company and there were so many horrible customer reviews. I don't know what to do.

Thankyou for your time, Leena Keju

The fact that you allowed a known misrepresntation will not get you out of the contractual liability.
