Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Arkansas

double collection

I have received a letter from an attorney regarding a jugdement against my husband and I. I also received a letter from another collection agency for the same judgement. The attorney was threatening and the other wanted to set up payment arrangements. The attorney is now garnishing both my husband's and my wages, but the other still wants to make arrangements. What should I do?

Re: double collection

Tell each you're planning to pay the other? Have you not told each about the other? Perhaps the creditor sold the debt to two parties!
