Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Arkansas

Property Line Fence

There is a chain link fence that seperates my neighbors and my property line. They decided to attach three feet of vertical electrical wiring to the fence. I have two grand children (3 and 4 yrs old) that visit me often and am afraid of them getting injuried or shocked. Do I have any recourse in making them take down the elictrical wiring or if someone gets hurt by it.

Re: Property Line Fence

I would say that if they share the fence as the property line with you, you may be able to make them take it down. But if the fence is on their property, then there is not much you can do.

In the event that someone gets hurt, you may have a cause of action against them if you can show that they were negligent in the installation of the line.
