Harassment

A letter was sent to my job from an employee of my husbands. Saying things about my husband & other female employees. An in house investigator for the company that he works for compared the hand writing & it was a match. Do I have any grounds for a harassment suit, seeing that it was sent to my place of employment. It caused us to be separated for a few days. Please help.

Harrassment is probably not your best option. If you can prove what was said in the letter was untrue and it caused harm or humiliation, you have a better case for slander. That is a written statement that is false, the writer knew was false, and it caused you some harm.

I would have to know more facts to see how strong a case you have.
