Legal Question in Insurance Law in Arkansas

Rear ended

I was rear ended last week. The other driver was sited as being at fault. My vehicle was totaled. The insurance company has offered the NADA value of my vehicle. I have done a lot of research that shows that my vehicle cannot be bought for that value. The insurance company will not even consider any more money. This is a vehicle that I paid cash for and I do not wish to finance, I only want to replace my car with something exactly the same. What else can I do?

I was not injured other than minor bruises but I am 5 months pregnant. The resulting stress has caused an increase in my blood pressure and various other stress symptoms. I do not know what to expect as far as injuries. I also am wondering if pain and suffering can be applied in this case. Thank you.

Insurance settlement is a negotiation. There may be room for a little or even a lot more in the settlement. The insurance company will certainly start out with as low an amount as they can. You may want to consider hiring an attorney or at least calling one for a more in-depth assessment. I offer free initial consultations, if you do not already have an attorney.
