Legal Question in Employment Law in Arkansas

Terminated from my job

I started work on 10/2006. I work at a hospital as a nurse. I became ill on 2/2007. (Blood Clots to the lungs) I took a FMLA and returned to work in March 2007. I attempted to work on several occassions but was very ill. I called in sick quite often and would be off for a week at a time. On May 29th, 2007 I was horribly sick again, and have been off work since then. My doctor wrote a note to inform my place of employment of my illness. On July 6th I received a note in the mail stating that I would be seperated from employment as patient care comes first, and at this time termination was the best intervention.

Re: Terminated from my job

You may have an FMLA claim. I would need to ask you some follow up questions, but you should be able to get your job back or damages.
