we have a 40 acre farm that last fall ou farmer decided to bail our soybeans into hay bails while we where out of town. we have been tring to each him for months and he finally answered me last thursday and said he hasnt sold the hay. we live in paragould, arkansas and I would like to no what legally i can do

It would be very difficult to answer your question without reading the lease. Typically, agricultural leases require farmers to exercise their best judgment and efforts in the operation of the farm. If the farmer did not exercise sound judgment and efforts, you can sue him for breach of the lease. If he was and is exercising sound judgment and efforts, then he is within the terms of the lease.

Again, your options depend on the language of the lease and could significantly vary according to its terms. In order to fully understand your options, you should have an attorney review the lease.
