Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Arkansas
nerve damage
My wife had sinus surgery, a few months later she had a severe headache and facial pain. She went back to the same ENT, he refered her to a different ENT. He preformed another surgery and refered her to a Neurologist and a Neuro Surgeon. After the Neuro Surgeon and second ENT discussed her case together. The second ENT told my wife that she should apply for disablity because the first ENT had done so much nerve damage and he ''butchered her up pretty bad''. Is there anything we can do or is nerve damage just a part of surgery?

If the second doctor used such strong language to describe her condition, there probably is malpractice.
To prove malpractice you have to prove two things.
1. That the doctor breached a standard of care (did something wrong which another doctor would say he should not have done);
2. That breach caused the injury you suffered.
