Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arkansas

Partition Action

I purchased 60+ acres with a friend last yr in Ar. Due to past problems with her, I wish to dissolve my land partnership with her. She lives on the property and I live out of state. We are both on the deed, & mortgage, to which I am the primary on the mortgage. Can I file a partition action & does that mean I have to sue? Could this be a costly, lengthy solution? I want to do this as civil and as quickly as possible.

Re: Partition Action

You asked about dissolving a partnership involving Arizona real estate.

If you have a formal partnership formed under Pennsylvania law then you would need to dissolve the partnership. If there is no formal partnership then you would need to address this matter to an attorney located in the state where the property is located.
