Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Arkansas
Not sure where to go with grabbing incident
I was the only female sales rep at an auto dealership and already felt awkward because of this. A few days ago while I was asking the male sales mgr a question, a male finance mgr came up behind me and goosed me & made what I considered to be sexual comments in front of the sales mgr and male gen. mgr. No one said or did anything,and I was too shocked and uncomfortable to say anything to protest. This was not the first time he grabbed me but no one saw or heard me tell him not to do it. I was fired yesterday, reasons began with ''a woman in this type of work...''. My boss said I put forth twice the effort of everyone else but I wouldn't make it at that company because ''women are better at other things''. I would just like to know where to go with this problem. Thanks.

I would prefer you send me an email with a question like this. You may have something, but I have a lot of questions before I could tell you anything, and it would be better to discuss them in a private email rather than where everyone can see it.
