Legal Question in Entertainment Law in Australia

Hi, I am planning to start an online escort advertising website in NSW targeting all states in Australia.

My concept of this website is:

The escorts will post their personal advertisements on this website, including photos, description of services they offer .The escorts will pay a membership fee to post their advertisements and they would make their own arrangements with the clients. I will not be involved in the relationship/payments between clients and escorts. Are there any restrictions on photos that escorts can post on my website? I have noticed that some girls have their face blurry, is that mandatory? Are they allowed to show their body parts? Are there any regulations by state? If an escort would like to upload her own video (introductory, non-pornographic), can she do that?

Do I need to obtain any licence for this advertising website?

Do I need to have a warning before someone enters this website?

Thank you

Alena

The advertising laws differ in each state and there are Federal laws which also apply.

In summary, you need to obtain professional advice as this is quite technical.

Please let us know if you would like a quote for same.
