Legal Question in Family Law in Australia

I was divorced 2 years ago. Up until now I have been seeing my daughter every second weekend. Now I want to see her more, even to the stage of having her live here with me. She is 11. She goes to school just up the road from me. My exwife has moved and refuses to give me my daughters phone number or address. Do I have a right to be able to call her on a land line? Also My exwife has organised for her to go to Indonesia with my ex mother in law as guide. I was not asked permission yet she wont let me take my daughter out of the state. Can she legally stop me as no court documents saying I cant have been presented.
Who is a good lawyer that I can contact to help out with this problem? I am in Victoria, Australia (south east of Melbourne). I will need a good laywer because there are many things I want to have changed. Also she wont go to mediation as I have (and her solicitor has ) requested.
Please advise asap.

Unfortunately you do not give me enough information. Is there a Residency/Contact Order in place? It would seem that while you may not succeed in obtaining residency if your daughter has been with her mother for the past 2 years, you ought to obtain contact. Furthermore you can prevent your wife from taking your daughter out of Australia. You will need to provide a lot more information before any definitive answer can be given.
