Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Bangladesh

My father died on 2006. After his death, we didn't make any case regarding land property. I mean to say, should we change the owner name of our father?

How many brothers and sisters do you have? You can enter into a settlement agreement between yourselves and will need to mutate the land in your names so that the records are updated and you can pay taxes and other charges.
