Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Bulgaria

"I have an apartment in Bulgaria, I signed an agreement with a management company for them to rent out the apartment for 20%, I received an e-mail two days ago saying they now want 30% and I have five days to agree or they will terminate the contract, can they do this?

If you are not satisfied with your current property management company you can replace it with another. Unless there is a clause in your agreement with the management company do not give more money. You may also have to sue them for early termination. Unfortunately many companies in Bulgaria are pressing theire foreign clients by increasing the payment. As a lawyer, I will try to give you best advice for your particular case.I hope this helps.

Best wishes
