Legal Question in Family Law in California

my boyfriend had a one night stand that resulted in a child. he worked with the lady and she never once told him about being pregnate. we had to find out frm child support papers. He wants to give up his rights. since he had no choice on being a father to this child. what are his rights and what choices does he have. we have a child together that is 12 he has 3 other kids 1 which he pays child support for a child he barely ever gets to see. she is 16. He is the sole provider for our family. can a man really be forced into being a parent. do men ever have the rights us women have? a man cant force a woman into having a baby or even into sex no means no. please help us. I read something that u can contest parentage thats already been established. is this true if so how do we do this?

If he disputes that he fathered the child he should review the materials on the California Courts Self-Help Parentage Website: http://www.courts.ca.gov/selfhelp-parentage.htm and take appropriate actions immediately.
