Is there a statute of limitations on credit cards or other unsecured loans?

The statute of limitations is two or four years. Sometimes, the collection agency may violate the Fair Debt Collection Act. Have you received any demand letters. Please contact us if you have any questions.

The statute of limitations is based on the contract for the card or loan, if in writing (likely) the statute in California is 4 years on a written contract from breach.
