living trust

my father has granted me power of attorney for him. i need to

change the name of the future trustee on our familys living trust. do i need a lawyer to do this/

The power of attorney usually contains provisions which specify the scope of authority given to you as agent, which may or may not include what you refer to. It is advisable to seek legal counsel to ensure that you have the authority pursuant to the power of attorney to do what you propose, and to ensure that it is done correctly.
