Legal Question in Disability Law in California

I have applied for section 8, the housing assistance program, and was denied the title "homeless" because some of my friends decided to pay my rent. Now, I'm still nearly 5 months behind, and sooner or later, I will be asked to leave again.

Sooner or later, I will be homeless again, and, was wondering what I can do in order to prove the title of "homeless".

Not have a place to live. When people are homeless that means they don't have anywhere to live and are actually without a home. Since they do not have a "home" they are homeless.

Also this is not a disability question.
