Legal Question in Disability Law in California

Is there a law in california for schools with students that have peanut allergies. My son has a life threatening allergy to peanuts and I want to know why can't schools inforce a peanut free school. What can I do to get this inforced.

So, I guess under your theory every kid with an allergy would get to enforce a school wide ban on that item? Like milk, eggs, bread, sugar, vegetables, fruits, oils, perfume, hair spray, wool, linen, etc. Just what would that leave in a school of a couple thousand students, each with their own demand? Hungry, naked bodies?
