You should hire a criminal defense attorney. Until you are absolutely certain that you do not have any criminal liability you should not speak to the agent. Remember the Miranda rights that are given to suspects on police program. Anything you say may and will be used against you. Agents have permission to lie so don't try talking to them yourself. After the attorney speak to the agents and determines that you have no liability then it is up to you whether or not you want to talk to the agent.

A little free advice on the assumption YOU are the one being investigated: exercise the 5th Amendment right to SHUT UP and do NOT talk to police or anyone about the case except with and through an attorney. If your attorney determines you are not at risk, he can then advise you how to handle the situation. If you are at risk, he then will be able to defend you without having to contend with 'confessions' made by you.

If serious about hiring counsel to help in this, and if this is in SoCal, feel free to contact me.
