Legal Question in Administrative Law in California

Small claim court with former employer

My former employer is sueing me for a loan I borrow against his company in the amount of 6,000 and he is sueing for 6,000 and 1500 for penalty fee. My question is I didn't want to pay back the loan because I felt he cheated me of my benefits rights. When I worked for him there was 2 W2 employee and he gave her health benefit and not me. He also show favortism by giving her vacation pay and not me. Can I counter sue his claim with a total different subject?

You can countersue, but you are going to have to come up with a better case.
