Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in California

Expunsion of a felony

I had a felony in 1998 in the fifth federal district of california. I have been out of trouble since then and am currently married with two kids. I was let go from my job working for toyota tusho because of this felony. How do I get this felony expunged?

Re: Expunsion of a felony

Some felonies can be expunged by appropriate motion and pleadings to first reduce them to a misdemeanor and then expunge the misdemeanor. No expungement is possible if you served or were sentenced to state prison time, or for certain violent or sexual assault crimes. Feel free to contact me if interested in discussing the details of conviction, to see if you qualify.
