santa clara county family court how many days do I have to appeal temporay orders?

The problem is that most temporary orders are not appealable. A few are, and there is a way to attempt to certify a temporary order for an appeal. Otherwise you must seek appellate court review by a petition for writ of mandate - which are discretionary with the Court of Appeal, or wait until you have a final judgment.
