Legal Question in Banking Law in California
Can a bank right to set off if your car was volunt. repossessed in 2007? They sold the vehicle there is a deficiency balance on it but who know's where the debt is...does your bank have to take you to court and get a judgement first or can they do a right to set off if you bank with them?
