Legal Question in Banking Law in California

My father lost a civil suit and his bank accounts have a lien. One of my bank accounts where he is a custodian have a lien on it because of the civil suit. Is it legal for the lawyer to put a lien on my account when my name is on the account and my father is a custodian. Also I am not longer a minor.

As long as your father is on the account, it is legal to lien it. If the money is entirely yours and not your father's there is a procedure called a Third-Party Claim that you can file to get the money released.
