Urgent Can I freeze bank account or ?
I filed for divorce from my husband of 12 yrs (service was on 02/14/07). After he was served with petition & standard retraining orders, he closed all of our joint accounts and moved the money into various accounts in his and his adult son's names. Then he killed himself. There is alot of money at stake. How can I freeze the accounts that have my community money in them, but do not have my name on them? Or how can I access the money otherwise? My adult step-son is not going to cooperate-he thinks he just hit the jackpot! Please help!!!!
